You can see everything happening on your screen in real time, and you can disconnect the session at any moment. Our technicians are CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certified. No data is retained after the session ends, and access credentials expire immediately.
If we cannot resolve your issue remotely, you will not be charged for the repair portion. The diagnostic fee is non-refundable since it covers the technician’s time and analysis, but we will provide a full report of findings and recommendations for next steps, including referrals if hardware replacement is needed.
Most single-device issues are resolved within 30–90 minutes. Complex infections or multi-device engagements may take longer. After reviewing your diagnosis submission, we’ll include an estimated timeframe in your quote so you know what to expect before paying.
We recommend being available at the start of the session to authorize access and describe the issue. After that, you can step away — our technician will work on the fix and notify you when it’s complete. You’ll receive a detailed post-session report of everything that was done.
After you submit the free diagnosis form, a technician reviews your case and sends a custom quote. You only pay after you approve the quote, through a secure Stripe Checkout link. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment processing with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.
We support Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, and most mainstream Linux distributions. If you’re not sure whether we can help with your specific setup, submit a diagnosis — it’s free and we’ll let you know.
Remote repair requires a working internet connection and the ability to run our support tool. If your PC won’t boot, is locked by ransomware, or can’t connect to the internet, remote service isn’t possible. Submit a diagnosis anyway — we’ll assess the situation for free and recommend next steps, which may include local repair referrals or data recovery options.
Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST. Diagnosis submissions are accepted 24/7 and will be reviewed during the next business day. Same-day emergency service is available during business hours for an additional $50 surcharge.
At this time, Intelligent-Tasks serves customers located in the United States only. Since our service is fully remote, we can help anyone with a US-based internet connection regardless of state. We plan to expand internationally in the future.
